... is a small group based in a small village called St. John's Chapel in Weardale, County Durham. The Society organises a large agricultural show (Chapel Show) held on the last Saturday in August.
The show gives good opportunities for:
The Society welcomes new members - both as part of the committee and as general helpers.
All Society members have the right to vote at the annual general meeting, and receive free entrance to the main show.
Throughout the year the following meetings are scheduled:
Annual membership fee: £6 per person.
We are always in need for more volunteers to help out on the show day.

Each year a number of fundraising events are organised by the Society. The aim is to raise money for the annual show while having fun.
In 2017 we had a Table Top Sale on Easter Monday and a Murder Mystery evening in early May. Both events attracted great interest, thank you very much for all of you who supported us!
For the last three years, visitors to the annual show have been asked to complete a short feedback questionnaire with responses being used to help in the planning of future shows and enhance customer satisfaction.
