We are small group based in a small village called St. John's
Chapel in Weardale, County Durham. The Society organises a large
agricultural show (Weardale Show, also commonly known as Chapel
Show) held on the last Saturday in August.
The show gives good opportunities for:
We welcome new members — both as part of the committee and as
general helpers. All Society members have the right to vote at the
annual general meeting, and receive free entrance to the main show.
Throughout the year the following
meetings are scheduled:
Annual membership fee: £6
We always welcome volunteers to help organising
the event and/or to help out on the show day.

Each year a number of fundraising events are
organised by the Society. The aim is to raise money for the annual
show while having fun.
In 2018 we are organising the
Easter Saturday, 31st Mar 2018 in St. John's Chapel Town Hall
£0.50 entry for visitors; 3, 4 and 6 ft tables can be hired
for £1 per ft
